Bhooma Devi arrives in Hyderabad to pursue her MA in English, optimistic and eager to embrace a fresh chapter of life. In her first week she meets Vikram, a computer engineering student whose charm and confidence draw her in; their flirtation quickly blossoms into a full-blown relationship. At first, their courtship seems typical of young love—the shared classes, the laughter at coffee break, the closely held notes passed between desks.
