The Story
In the remote and picturesque town of Baramulla, Kashmir, an unsettling peace is shattered by a series of inexplicable and gruesome deaths. The local community, steeped in folklore, attributes the mysterious events to a malevolent supernatural entity. An ambitious investigative journalist arrives from the city, determined to debunk the superstitions and find a rational, human explanation for the killings. He reluctantly teams up with a seasoned, world-weary local police officer who is more inclined to believe the chilling local legends of a demonic presence. As their investigation deepens, they uncover a dark history hidden within the valley's past, linking the current deaths to an ancient curse and the reawakening of a powerful demon known as Shaytan. The journalist's skepticism is pushed to its limits as he witnesses paranormal events firsthand, and the duo finds themselves racing against time. They must decipher cryptic clues and forgotten rituals to confront the ancient evil before it consumes the entire town and its inhabitants.

The Girlfriend
Bhooma Devi arrives in Hyderabad to pursue her MA in English, optimistic and eager to embrace a fresh chapter of life. In her first week she meets Vikram, a computer engineering student whose charm and confidence draw her in; their flirtation quickly blossoms into a full-blown relationship. At first, their courtship seems typical of young loveâthe shared classes, the laughter at coffee break, the closely held notes passed between desks. But as time passes, Vikramâs attitude begins to shift. What started as sweetness becomes possessiveness. His jokes about gender roles turn sharp, his suggestions about what Bhooma should wear or whom she should meet become instructions. Suddenly, Bhoomaâs father refuses to grant permission for her outings, her friends drift away under Vikramâs subtle demands, and her grades slip because sheâs distracted by the weight of being someoneâs âideal girlfriend.â Behind the scenes, Vikram exploits the perception of being a loving partner while methodically eroding her independence. He dismisses her concerns as over-sensitivity, applauds her when she complies, and withdraws when she doesnât. Bhooma finds herself in a literal foam-pit at a college game, unable to climb outânot because of chance, but because sheâs frozen by fear and the knowledge that âbeing goodâ isnât enough. Eventually, isolated and trapped, she realizes that the relationship isnât upliftingâitâs limiting. Her turning point comes when she sees her fatherâs disappointment and recognizes the mirror of her own reflection cracking. She confronts Vikram in front of their peers, telling him that love does not require obedience. When he refuses to change, she walks awayâquietly, resolutely. In the aftermath, Bhooma reclaims her friendships, refocuses her studies, and begins giving tours on her terms, offering visitors the choice to see beauty or complexity in the world. Though Vikram remains part of her past, she no longer lets his narrative define her future.
