The Story

In the remote and desolate landscapes of the Arctic, a dying scientist named Victor Frankenstein recounts his life's catastrophic story to the captain of an exploration vessel. A brilliant and ambitious student consumed by the desire to unlock the secrets of life and death, Victor spent years in obsessive solitude, assembling a humanoid creature from scavenged body parts. In a moment of terrible triumph, he animates his creation, but is immediately repulsed by its grotesque appearance. He abandons the creature, fleeing in horror from the being he brought into the world. The creature, intelligent and sensitive despite its horrifying form, awakens to a world that greets it with fear and violence. After learning to speak and read by secretly observing a family, its attempts at connection are met with brutal rejection, fueling a profound sense of loneliness and rage. Discovering his creator's identity, the creature vows revenge and begins to systematically dismantle Victor's life, murdering his youngest brother and framing an innocent woman for the crime. Consumed by guilt, Victor confronts his creation, who demands he build a female companion to end its isolation. Victor reluctantly agrees, but in a final moment of revulsion, destroys the second creature before it is complete. This act of betrayal unleashes the creature's ultimate fury, leading to the murder of Victor's best friend and, finally, his bride Elizabeth on their wedding night. Left with nothing, Victor dedicates the remainder of his life to a relentless pursuit of his creation, a chase that leads them both to the frozen wasteland where Victor's story ends. After Victor's death, the creature appears one last time, mourning the man who was both his father and his foe, before disappearing into the arctic darkness to end its own miserable existence.
