Jatadhara opens with Shiva, a young corporate employee haunted by recurring nightmares of a child under attack and inexplicable visions tied to his past. Alongside occasional ghost-hunting outings, he remains deeply sceptical of supernatural forces—until strange events pull him into a remote village with a large ancestral house that locals believe is cursed. As his investigation deepens, he uncovers the legend of Dhana Pisaachini, an ancient demoness bound to the sacred vaults beneath a temple rumored to hold unimaginable wealth. Driven by greed as much as vengeance, the demoness emerges when Shiva’s own heritage is revealed to be tied to the temple’s forbidden secrets. His parents confess a hidden lineage and a pact made generations ago to protect the power lying beneath the temple floor. With Dhana Pisaachini’s strength rising, Shiva must navigate rituals, hidden vaults, and the very boundary between faith and rationality. Side by side with Sitara, a woman connected to the mystery through her horoscope and ancestral curse, Shiva ventures into underground chambers, confronts spectral guardians and survives blood-soaked betrayals. In the climax, Shiva channels the latent power of his lineage, sacrifices his fear, and uses both science-driven logic and ancient spiritual rites to break the demoness’s cycle. The vaults close, the demonic presence dissipates, and the temple returns to silence.
