He dismisses her concerns as over-sensitivity, applauds her when she complies, and withdraws when she doesn’t. Bhooma finds herself in a literal foam-pit at a college game, unable to climb out—not because of chance, but because she’s frozen by fear and the knowledge that “being good” isn’t enough. Eventually, isolated and trapped, she realizes that the relationship isn’t uplifting—it’s limiting. Her turning point comes when she sees her father’s disappointment and recognizes the mirror of her own reflection cracking. She confronts Vikram in front of their peers, telling him that love does not require obedience. When he refuses to change, she walks away—quietly, resolutely. In the aftermath, Bhooma reclaims her friendships, refocuses her studies, and begins giving tours on her terms, offering visitors the choice to see beauty or complexity in the world. Though Vikram remains part of her past, she no longer lets his narrative define her future.
