Decades after the infamous events in the seemingly quaint town of Nilbog, a new generation is unknowingly drawn into the peculiar clutches of the vegetarian goblins in 'Troll 2 (2025)'. The story centers on the Miller family – a cynical teenager, Chloe, her overly enthusiastic, nature-loving parents, and her younger, imaginative brother, Leo. They embark on a mandatory 'digital detox' vacation to the 'Green Haven Collective,' an isolated, self-sustaining eco-commune nestled deep within a pristine national forest. Advertised as a sanctuary for holistic living and organic eating, Green Haven is championed by its enigmatic founder, Elder Willow, and her seemingly benevolent, slightly unnerving acolytes. As soon as they arrive, Leo begins to experience unsettling visions and encounters with shadowy figures that resemble the 'goblins' from his grandfather's bizarre tales – tales that Chloe dismisses as childish fantasies. The commune's strict diet of all-natural, locally sourced, and curiously potent plant-based meals and drinks begins to have strange effects on the other guests, who slowly start to exhibit plant-like characteristics: a craving for sunlight, rigid posture, and a vacant stare. Chloe, initially bored and resentful, soon uncovers alarming inconsistencies beneath Green Haven’s wholesome facade. She realizes that Elder Willow and her followers are, in fact, the advanced descendants of the same vegetarian goblins from Nilbog, who have refined their methods of transforming humans into their preferred plant-based sustenance. Their new modus operandi involves a potent organic concoction disguised as a health elixir, slowly turning their unsuspecting human guests into sentient plants – a more subtle and sophisticated form of the original 'Nilbog green stuff.' With her family and the other guests slowly succumbing, Chloe must overcome her cynicism and work with Leo, whose 'imaginary' goblin sightings prove horrifyingly real. They attempt to expose the grotesque truth of Green Haven to the outside world, armed only with Chloe's hidden smartphone and Leo's increasingly vivid warnings. The climax involves a desperate attempt to disrupt the goblins' 'harvest ritual,' where the fully transformed humans are to be absorbed back into the earth, providing nourishment for the goblin community. The film culminates in a chaotic confrontation, leaving the audience to wonder if humanity has truly escaped the goblins' sinister, environmentally-conscious hunger.

Bhooma Devi arrives in Hyderabad to pursue her MA in English, optimistic and eager to embrace a fresh chapter of life. In her first week she meets Vikram, a computer engineering student whose charm and confidence draw her in; their flirtation quickly blossoms into a full-blown relationship. At first, their courtship seems typical of young love—the shared classes, the laughter at coffee break, the closely held notes passed between desks. But as time passes, Vikram’s attitude begins to shift. What started as sweetness becomes possessiveness. His jokes about gender roles turn sharp, his suggestions about what Bhooma should wear or whom she should meet become instructions. Suddenly, Bhooma’s father refuses to grant permission for her outings, her friends drift away under Vikram’s subtle demands, and her grades slip because she’s distracted by the weight of being someone’s “ideal girlfriend.” Behind the scenes, Vikram exploits the perception of being a loving partner while methodically eroding her independence. He dismisses her concerns as over-sensitivity, applauds her when she complies, and withdraws when she doesn’t. Bhooma finds herself in a literal foam-pit at a college game, unable to climb out—not because of chance, but because she’s frozen by fear and the knowledge that “being good” isn’t enough. Eventually, isolated and trapped, she realizes that the relationship isn’t uplifting—it’s limiting. Her turning point comes when she sees her father’s disappointment and recognizes the mirror of her own reflection cracking. She confronts Vikram in front of their peers, telling him that love does not require obedience. When he refuses to change, she walks away—quietly, resolutely. In the aftermath, Bhooma reclaims her friendships, refocuses her studies, and begins giving tours on her terms, offering visitors the choice to see beauty or complexity in the world. Though Vikram remains part of her past, she no longer lets his narrative define her future.
