The Story
In 1964, paranormal investigators Ed Warren and Lorraine Warren come across a haunted antique mirror at a curiosity shop. When Lorraine touches it, she suffers a terrifying vision of a malevolent entity and her unborn daughter, prompting Ed to rush her to hospital. Lorraine delivers a stillborn daughter, but her prayers appear to bring the baby—eventually named Judy—back to life. Twenty-two years later, in West Pittston, Pennsylvania, the Jack Smurl family moves into a house that carries the very same mirror. Jack, his wife Janet, his parents Mary and John, and their four daughters begin experiencing escalating supernatural phenomena: heavy objects crashing without cause, disembodied voices, and violent poltergeist attacks. Meanwhile, Judy—now grown—begins suffering psychic episodes and alarming premonitions.
