The Story
The story picks up twelve years after the events of the first film. Atharva, still haunted by the trauma of his daughter Aarya’s possession, continues to live with the consequences of that dark chapter. Although Aarya has grown into a young woman, she remains psychologically trapped and withdrawn — the grip of what happened to her has never fully released. Suddenly, a chilling new horror begins. At a girls’ school, dozens of students inexplicably leap from the school terrace in unison. Others begin attacking strangers, vandalizing property, and acting like mind-controlled puppets. Atharva realises these incidents are not isolated — a sinister mastermind is manipulating the girls through hypnosis and dark magic. The mastermind is revealed to be Rajnath, younger brother of the imprisoned black magician Pratap. Rajnath is free and seeks to out-do his brother’s legacy by controlling children and spreading chaos across society. Atharva is pulled back into the fight — not only to save Aarya, but to confront a new evil that builds on the old one. The climax pits Atharva in a brutal showdown with Rajnath. In a symbolic act of power, Atharva severs Rajnath’s tongue, thereby cutting off his hypnotic control. At the same time, Atharva takes a personal step by returning ten rupees — a karmic gesture that finally frees Aarya from her trance. The victory comes at a cost: even as the evil is defeated, Atharva remains scarred and changed by the ordeal. In the end, while the immediate threat is over, the film leaves us with a somber sense that the evil Atharva faced may never fully disappear. The normalcy the family seeks is tempered by the horror they’ve endured, and the damage remains part of their reality.
