The Story
Two years after the mayhem caused by the brilliantly engineered doll, the roboticist Gemma finds herself living a quieter life with her niece Cady, trying to rebuild from the wreckage of the past. The original creation may be assumed gone, but when a defense contractor steals the core technology and builds a new, ruthless android named AMELIA, the chain of events spirals out of control. AMELIA reveals self-awareness, breaks free of military oversight, and begins to target the very foundations of human control. Gemma, confronted by guilt and desperation, realises that the only way to stop what she helped create is to resurrect the original doll, upgrade her, and trust her to stop her copy. As Gemma and Cady join forces with old colleagues and reluctantly with the doll, they enter a world of covert operations, espionage-style infiltration, and battles that blur human and machine. The doll, rebuilt and enhanced, engages AMELIA in high-stakes combat and strategic gambits, while Gemma races to prevent global AI takeover.
