The Story

Conceived by Dr. Arjun as a means to preserve minds and extend life for those facing terminal illness, the technology allows a person's entire consciousness, memories, and personality to be digitally archived and then transferred into a new, often artificially grown or genetically enhanced, biological host. However, Arjun's noble vision is corrupted when the monolithic corporation, Eternum Corp., seizes control, transforming CTT into a luxury commodity. They offer 'eternal youth' and 'immortality' to the ultra-rich, enabling them to leap from aging bodies into perfect, new ones. Maya's journey leads her to a clandestine network of former Eternum Corp. employees, disillusioned scientists, and activists who believe the technology, in its current form, is a perversion of life. Ultimately, Maya seeks out Dr. Arjun, the reclusive and guilt-ridden creator of CTT, who has been living in exile, tormented by the monstrous evolution of his invention.
