Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi

Storyline

In a galaxy where the Jedi Order has been decimated and lightsaber crystals are incredibly rare, a legendary lightsaber-smith named Juro sends out a desperate plea to the few remaining Jedi Knights. He has managed to forge eight new lightsabers and invites the scattered survivors to gather on the remote planet Hyakuri to receive these crucial weapons and perhaps begin to rebuild. Juro's daughter, Kara, is entrusted with the perilous mission of transporting the eight precious lightsabers to the meeting point. Her journey is immediately fraught with danger, as she is ambushed by bandits and later confronted by a mysterious figure wielding a red lightsaber, who reveals himself to be Margrave Juro, her own father. However, this 'Juro' is an imposter, a powerful Sith Lord who orchestrated the entire event as a elaborate trap to lure out and eliminate the last vestiges of the Jedi. He reveals that the lightsaber crystals he 'forged' were infused with his own dark energy. At the gathering point, as the eight Jedi ignite their new weapons, only those strong in the light are able to activate them, and even then, their blades flicker erratically, changing colors from blue to green to yellow, reflecting the purity and strength of their connection to the Force. Those weaker in the Force find their blades remain dark or fail completely. As Kara confronts the imposter Juro, she receives a message from the *true* lightsaber-smith, Ethan, who has been imprisoned. Ethan reveals the deception and warns Kara about the corrupted lightsabers. Realizing the terrible truth, Kara discovers a ninth, hidden lightsaber, crafted by Ethan and specifically meant for her, which ignites with a stable, pure blue blade. She bravely confronts the imposter Juro and, through a fierce battle, defeats him, saving the remaining Jedi and showcasing her own profound connection to the Force. The surviving Jedi, having overcome the imposter's treachery, acknowledge Kara's courage and the need to rebuild their order, with the unstable lightsabers serving as a testament to their individual strength and the challenges they must face.
