Storyline

Param Sachdev is the irresponsible scion of a wealthy Delhi investor who is eager to prove himself. When a fresh startup pitches him a dating app built on AI that promises to find your soulmate, he convinces his father to fund it—on the condition that he first finds his own perfect match. That leads him to Kerala, where the data lines up with Sundari, a modest young woman who now runs a homestay after losing her parents and is raising her younger sister, Ammu. Param arrives under the guise of testing the app but quickly becomes drawn into Sundari’s world of quiet resilience, family bonds and cultural richness far removed from his fast-paced city life. As Param spends time in the homestay, he navigates the rhythms of South Indian life—Sundari’s responsibilities, village festivals, local legends and the weight of her past—while entertaining dreams of making the AI love-experiment a success. Sundari, meanwhile, is wary: she senses the outsider in him, sees his attempts at adapting to her world, and keeps her guard up as she looks after her sister and tries to build a stable future. The interplay between their worlds—Param’s upright ambition and brash confidence, Sundari’s quiet strength and sense of duty—creates moments of friction and tenderness. As Param persuades himself that Sundari is the proof of his app’s promise, real feelings begin to stir, and he finds his own priorities shifting. After misunderstandings, culture-clashes and a moment of truth at a returning investor meeting in Delhi, Param must decide whether his venture and his desires align or whether the person he’s falling for demands more than an algorithm can capture. In the end, he chooses to recalibrate his life: Sundari and her sister receive his genuine commitment, the startup gets a human heart, and both of them embark on a future rooted in respect for each other’s worlds.
