The Story
The film opens with Senior Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy, now heading a specialized anti-human trafficking unit, confronting a new wave of disappearances in Mumbai. Young adults from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, lured by the promise of lucrative jobs, vanish without a trace. Dismissing initial police theories of simple runaways, Shivani's sharp instincts lead her to suspect a meticulously organized criminal operation. Her investigation unearths a sophisticated, pan-Indian network operating under the guise of an advanced online recruitment agency, which preys on the desperate hopes of job-seekers. Victims are not just trafficked for forced labor but are also subjected to horrifying organ harvesting schemes and recruitment into illicit activities. Shivani identifies the mastermind as 'The Architect,' a shadowy figure who leverages cutting-edge technology, psychological manipulation, and deep-seated political connections to maintain their extensive empire. The Architect's influence extends across multiple states, corrupting officials and operating through a complex web of shell companies and clandestine facilities. As Shivani closes in, she faces immense pressure from within the department to abandon the case, especially when her findings begin to implicate high-profile individuals. Despite bureaucratic hurdles and threats to her own life and career, Shivani and her dedicated team relentlessly pursue every lead. A breakthrough comes from a traumatized survivor who manages to escape, providing crucial intelligence about the network's operations and a hidden compound. This information propels Shivani into a perilous journey, from the bustling urban landscape to remote, desolate locations where the victims are held captive. As Shiv attempts to juggle a potential fourth romantic involvement with Tanya, evade Rohan's increasingly sharp observations, and maintain the delicate balance between Anjali, Simran, and Juhi, his secret life teeters on the brink of collapse. A series of hilarious misunderstandings, close calls, and mistaken identities ensue, particularly during a family-wide company retreat that all four women (and their respective children) unexpectedly attend. Shiv's desperate attempts to keep them apart and prevent the inevitable collision form the core of the comedic chaos, leading to a climactic sequence where all his lies are on the verge of being exposed in the most public and embarrassing manner possible, forcing him to confront the consequences of his choices.
