Storyline

Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance is reshaping the future and determining, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history's most fearsome creatures. The story begins with Owen Grady and Claire Dearing living in a remote cabin, secretly raising Maisie Lockwood, a clone who possesses unique genetic make-up. When Maisie is kidnapped by poachers working for the sinister Biosyn genetics corporation, and Beta, the offspring of Owen's raptor Blue, is also captured, Owen and Claire embark on a global rescue mission. Meanwhile, an ecological crisis emerges as genetically engineered giant locusts, created by Biosyn, are devastating crops across the American Midwest, threatening to cause a worldwide famine, as they only consume crops not grown from Biosyn seeds. Dr. Ellie Sattler investigates this phenomenon and recruits Dr. Alan Grant to help her. Their investigation leads them to Biosyn's remote sanctuary in the Dolomites, where Dr. Ian Malcolm is working and becomes an inside source. All parties converge at Biosyn's headquarters, which serves as a massive dinosaur sanctuary and research facility, managed by the ambitious and morally ambiguous Dr. Lewis Dodgson. They uncover Dodgson's true intentions: to monopolize the world's food supply through his 'modified' crops while housing and studying dinosaurs. The combined efforts of Owen, Claire, Maisie, Ellie, Alan, and Ian expose Dodgson's crimes and lead to a perilous escape through the facility, which inevitably spirals into chaos as the dinosaurs are unleashed. They must not only survive the prehistoric predators but also bring down Biosyn's operation and ensure Maisie's safety, ultimately facing a choice about humanity's place in a world where dinosaurs are now a permanent fixture.
