Storyline

In Gram Chikitsalay, Dr. Prabhat Sinha (Amol Parashar), a fresh medical graduate brimming with idealism, chooses a path less traveled—he takes up duty at a crumbling Primary Health Centre in the remote village of Bhatkandi, nestled somewhere in North India. What greets him is not just a derelict clinic with rusted equipment and flickering hopes, but a village that places its faith in Chetak Kumar (Vinay Pathak), a smooth-talking local quack with a loyal following. As Dr. Prabhat tries to revive not just the PHC but the very idea of credible healthcare, he finds himself entangled in red tape, social apathy, and a culture that views change with suspicion. His battle is not against disease alone, but against a system and mindset that have long since given up.
