Final Destination 3

Storyline

High school student Wendy Christensen is celebrating her graduation at an amusement park with her boyfriend, Jason Wise, her best friend, Carrie Dreyer, and Carrie's boyfriend, Kevin Fischer. As they board the Devil's Flight roller coaster, Wendy has a vivid premonition of the ride derailing and crashing, killing everyone on board. Panicked, she insists they get off the ride, causing a commotion. Several other students, including Ashley Freund, Ashlyn Halperin, Frankie Cheeks, Lewis Romero, Erin Ulmer, and Ian McKinley, also get off due to the disruption. Moments later, the coaster indeed crashes exactly as Wendy foresaw, killing everyone remaining on board, including Jason and Carrie. In the aftermath, the remaining survivors of the premonition begin to die in a series of elaborate and seemingly accidental incidents that mirror the order in which they would have perished on the roller coaster. First, Ashley and Ashlyn are trapped and burned alive in a tanning salon. Frankie is decapitated by a loose engine fan from a truck. Erin falls from a cherry picker and is impaled through the head by a nail gun. Lewis is crushed by falling weights at the gym. Wendy and Kevin realize a pattern, finding clues to each death in photographs Wendy took at the amusement park that fateful night. They desperately try to warn the remaining survivors, but their efforts are futile. Perry Malinowski is impaled by a flagpole during a school fair, and Ian McKinley is bisected by a falling sign after Wendy inadvertently caused his photo to be taken earlier, which she believes was the trigger for his death. Five months later, Wendy, Kevin, and Wendy's younger sister, Julie Christensen (who was also on the coaster's manifest but got off due to the initial commotion), are on a subway. Wendy has another horrifying premonition of the train derailing and crashing, causing an explosion. Despite their attempts to escape, the train derails, crashing and killing Wendy, Kevin, and Julie, along with other passengers, fulfilling Death's design.
