In the opening of the season, Delhi Crime’s team, headed by DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, is transferred to Assam where an arms‐intercept operation unexpectedly unearths a truck full of young women being trafficked toward Delhi. The investigation spirals as they uncover the tip of a vast human-trafficking network. Back in Delhi, a critically injured two-year-old child is found abandoned at a major hospital, triggering an urgent inquiry into how she fits into the larger web of abduction and exploitation. The trail leads to a ruthless figure known as “Badi Didi,” who runs a marriage bureau façade for a trafficking ring moving women across borders and states. Vartika and her team race to piece together how the victims are recruited, transported and sold, while the traffickers shift locations, bribe officials and use a travel agency and rental vans to stay ahead. Alongside the procedural chase, the personal stakes rise: one young survivor hides evidence to escape, another victim buried under trauma slowly begins to speak. Finally, in a tense raid at a farmhouse run by the trafficking ring, the officers discover records, footage and place names that reveal the full scale of the operation. The network tries to liquidate the operation, sell girls to intermediaries abroad, and flee the country—but Vartika’s squad corners “Badi Didi” in a dramatic confrontation. The season closes with the traffickers arrested, survivors rescued and a nation shaken by the extent of the undercover network; yet the messages linger: the case has ended but the crime persists in shadows.

Bhooma Devi arrives in Hyderabad to pursue her MA in English, optimistic and eager to embrace a fresh chapter of life. In her first week she meets Vikram, a computer engineering student whose charm and confidence draw her in; their flirtation quickly blossoms into a full-blown relationship. At first, their courtship seems typical of young love—the shared classes, the laughter at coffee break, the closely held notes passed between desks. But as time passes, Vikram’s attitude begins to shift. What started as sweetness becomes possessiveness. His jokes about gender roles turn sharp, his suggestions about what Bhooma should wear or whom she should meet become instructions. Suddenly, Bhooma’s father refuses to grant permission for her outings, her friends drift away under Vikram’s subtle demands, and her grades slip because she’s distracted by the weight of being someone’s “ideal girlfriend.” Behind the scenes, Vikram exploits the perception of being a loving partner while methodically eroding her independence. He dismisses her concerns as over-sensitivity, applauds her when she complies, and withdraws when she doesn’t. Bhooma finds herself in a literal foam-pit at a college game, unable to climb out—not because of chance, but because she’s frozen by fear and the knowledge that “being good” isn’t enough. Eventually, isolated and trapped, she realizes that the relationship isn’t uplifting—it’s limiting. Her turning point comes when she sees her father’s disappointment and recognizes the mirror of her own reflection cracking. She confronts Vikram in front of their peers, telling him that love does not require obedience. When he refuses to change, she walks away—quietly, resolutely. In the aftermath, Bhooma reclaims her friendships, refocuses her studies, and begins giving tours on her terms, offering visitors the choice to see beauty or complexity in the world. Though Vikram remains part of her past, she no longer lets his narrative define her future.
